Due to the weather conditions, the Marquis Studios Dance Performance for classes 245, 239, 203, 204, 127, and 219 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 27th at 1 p.m. in the auditorium.
Due to the weather conditions, the Dual Language Music Concert has been rescheduled for Friday, April 13th at 9 a.m. in the auditorium.
Students entering kindergarten through grade 12 can apply now to attend exciting science and STEM enrichment programs being offered this summer at the NYC Department of Education’s Genovesi Environmental Study Center and NYC Center for Aerospace and Applied Mathematics, the Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, Museum of the City of New York, New York Aquarium, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Botanical Garden, Queens County Farm Museum, Queens Zoo, Staten Island Museum, Staten Island Zoo, and SUNY Old Westbury. Programs feature 1-week camps, high school internships, and a 4-week college credit bearing course. Preference is given to students who attend Title I schools.

Please join Community Education Councils 13 and 15 for a meeting to discuss State Testing. The meeting will include a discussion of the history behind the standardized test, why they remain a part of the elementary school process, and how the data from the tests are used. There will also be a discussion on the alternatives to the test.

The Learning Wheel Childcare center will host Open Houses every Saturday and Sunday starting March 17th from 10am-3pm.

We have important and exciting news from our Good Shepherd After School Program! Applications for the 2018 summer camp program will be available for pick-up on Monday, March 26th, from 10 am-6 pm in room 109 (Beacon Room). This summer camp program is for students in grades 1-8. If you would like to enroll your child, you must pick up an application on Monday, March 26th and return in on Saturday, March 31st at 10 am in the school cafeteria.
